We are thrilled to announce that nominations are now open for the ACA 2025 Inaugural Excellence Awards, taking place during the highly anticipated ACA 2025 National Conference.
This is your opportunity to celebrate excellence and acknowledge the outstanding contributions of individuals who have made a significant impact in the counselling profession. Whether it’s an inspiring leader, an innovative thinker, or a dedicated professional who has left a lasting mark, now is the time to recognise their hard work and achievements.
The Awards will take place on the evening of 12 June 2025 at the InterContinental Adelaide, more information and tickets coming soon.
Nominations will be accepted until 31 March 2025 5:00pm AEST.

Counsellor of the Year Award
Are you or someone you know a standout in the counselling field? Nominate them for the Counsellor of the Year Award! We're looking for individuals who have shown exceptional care for their clients, dedication to their professional development, and leadership within the counselling community. Help us recognise excellence in counselling!
Innovation in Counselling Award
Have you developed a new and effective counselling approach? Are you pushing the boundaries of traditional counselling practices? Nominate yourself or someone else for the Innovation in Counselling Award! We want to honor those who are changing the game in counselling and making a real impact on clients' lives.
Advocacy and Social Justice Award
Do you know a Counsellor who is making a difference beyond the counselling room? Nominate them for the Advocacy and Social Justice Award! We're looking for individuals who are advocates for positive change, promoting social justice, and working to make the world a better place through counselling.
Excellence in Research Award
Are you conducting groundbreaking research in the field of counselling? Have your research findings made a significant impact on the profession? Indigenous Award
